Fire Science 1

Apply concepts to respond to emergent incidents using appropriate protocols, equipment, and training.

Students are able to safely identify, assemble, operate, and maintain fire service equipment for various tasks and emergency situations.

Students will be able to communicate their understanding of structures and operations as a member of a team.

Students will demonstrate skills needed to meet the rigors of the workplace. These include but are not limited to attendance, uniforms, engagement, time management, collaboration, and work product quality.

SWBAT communicate their understanding of fire science related topics through a variety of written, verbal, and physical representations.
